CREATURE CREATIONS

What has wings, fur and sleeps during the day? An imaginary creature invented by you! Campers will learn about local critters, dream up their own furry or feathered beast and create their own works of fiction to bring home at the end of camp.

IMAGINARY WORLDS: WITCHES, WIZARDS, KNIGHTS & PRINCESSES

Calling all dragons, mermaids, unicorns and kings! Imagination rules in this camp for fairy tale fanatics of all stripes. Campers will weave a tale around characters they create, make their own costumes and build confidence as they perform in a child-created production at the end of the week.

NEW! MAGIC CHEMISTRY

Campers will discover the magic of chemistry by mixing concoctions, investigating the properties of matter, and experimenting with different scientific tools.

NEW! MASTERS OF MYSTERY

Campers will use their judgment, evaluation, reasoning and problem solving skills as they become private investigators for the week. How many hidden clues can you uncover throughout the Museum’s 7.5 acres?

ON THE BAY

Investigate local animals and search the shores for hidden treasures in this beloved camp. Take on the persona of bugs, fish, plants and birds while exploring their habitats through hiking, experiments and hands-on discovery.

NEW! REAL TOOLS, REALLY FUN

Campers will experiment using various tools, like those used for gardening, cooking, carpentry, science and art as well as the design and engineering tools featured in our early childhood Fab Lab including a vinyl cutter, laser cutter and 3D printer.

SHIPWRECKS & TREASURE HUNTS

Ahoy ye scurvy landlubbers! Embark on a voyage of adventure making maps, singing chanteys, digging for treasures from mysterious lands and discovering weird sea creatures.
