Registration is not required to access any information or participate in any activities on our site, and you can surf through most areas of our site without providing any personally identifiable information (such as name, address, email address, or telephone number) about yourself.

Certain areas of our website allow parents and guardians the opportunity to voluntarily provide personal information about themselves and their children in order to become Bay Area Discovery Museum members or learn more about the Bay Area Discovery Museum. We also ask parents and guardians to provide the names and birthdays of the children in their households. Our “Registration Form,” which is filled out to reserve the Museum for activities such as a birthday party, requires disclosure of your contact information and a credit card number.

From time to time, we may also conduct online surveys or contests. If the online survey or contest is directed at adults, it may ask visitors for contact information (such as an e-mail address) and demographic information. We use contact data from our surveys and contests to send the user information about the organization. The user’s contact information is also used to contact the visitor when necessary. You may always opt-out of receiving future contact from the Bay Area Discovery Museum, as described in more detail in the “Choice/Opt-Out” section below.
